Simon Sinek is a British-American author, motivational speaker, and organizational consultant. He is the author of five books, including the international bestseller Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action (2009).

Sinek was born in Wimbledon, England, and raised in both England and the United States. He studied marketing and anthropology at Brandeis University. After graduating, he worked as an advertising copywriter in New York City.

In 2009, Sinek published his first book, Start with Why. The book quickly became a bestseller and has been translated into more than 30 languages. In the book, Sinek argues that great leaders inspire people by starting with their “why,” or their purpose. He also introduces the “Golden Circle,” a framework for communicating your why, how, and what.

Sinek’s work has been featured in publications like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. He has also spoken at conferences and events all over the world.

In addition to his writing and speaking, Sinek is also the founder of Sinek Partners, a consultancy that helps organizations build strong cultures and inspire their employees.
